Solid Cast Iron | Reversible Cooking Surface | Pre-Seasoned | Hob, Oven & Open-Flame Suitable
Designed for versatile everyday cooking, our Pre-Seasoned Reversible Cast Iron Griddle Pan combines two distinct cooking surfaces within one substantial piece of cast-iron cookware.
The ridged side is designed for grilling and searing foods such as meat, fish and vegetables, while the smooth side provides a flat cooking surface for eggs, pancakes, flatbreads and general griddle cooking.
Made from solid cast iron, it provides excellent heat retention and arrives pre-seasoned, allowing the cooking surface to develop a natural patina through continued use and appropriate care rather than relying on a conventional applied non-stick coating.
At approximately 46 × 26 cm, its generous cooking area is suitable for preparing multiple portions, while integrated handles make it easier to position and turn. Suitable for gas, induction and ceramic hobs, oven cooking and appropriate open-flame use, it provides a highly adaptable cooking surface for both indoor and outdoor cooking.
What Makes Our Reversible Cast Iron Griddle Different?
Two Cooking Surfaces in One
A reversible design gives you a ridged grilling surface on one side and a smooth, flat griddle on the other, allowing one piece of cookware to handle a wider range of foods and cooking techniques.
Solid Cast Iron Construction
Made from substantial cast iron for excellent heat retention and steady cooking performance across the large cooking surface.
No Conventional Non-Stick Coating
The cooking surface uses pre-seasoned cast iron rather than a conventional applied non-stick coating, keeping the construction simple while allowing a natural cooking patina to develop with use.
Ridged Grilling Surface
The raised ridges are suited to searing meat, fish and vegetables while creating defined grill marks and allowing rendered fats and cooking juices to collect between the ridges.
Smooth Griddle Surface
Flip the griddle over for a flat cooking surface suited to foods such as eggs, pancakes, flatbreads and vegetables, as well as general griddle cooking.
Carefully Selected for NEO
Chosen for its durable material construction, versatile reversible design and maintainable seasoned surface—a practical alternative to cookware that relies on conventional applied non-stick coatings.
What is a Reversible Cast Iron Griddle?
A reversible cast iron griddle is a single piece of cookware with a different cooking surface on each side. One side features raised ridges for grilling and searing, while the opposite side provides a smooth, flat surface for traditional griddle cooking.
The dense cast-iron construction absorbs and retains heat effectively, helping maintain a consistent cooking temperature across the large surface once properly preheated.
The ridged side is particularly useful for steaks, burgers, fish and vegetables, while the smooth side is better suited to eggs, pancakes, flatbreads and other foods that benefit from full contact with the cooking surface.
Rather than using a conventional applied non-stick coating, the griddle is pre-seasoned. With appropriate cleaning, drying and continued seasoning, a natural patina develops on the cast iron and can improve food release over time.

What you need to know
Why You Should Be Using Our Reversible Cast Iron Griddle
Two Cooking Styles, One Griddle
Switch between a ridged grilling surface and a smooth flat surface simply by turning the griddle over, reducing the need for separate grill and griddle pans.
Excellent Heat Retention
Solid cast iron retains heat exceptionally well once preheated, making it particularly suited to searing, browning and maintaining steady cooking temperatures.
A Surface That Develops With Use
The pre-seasoned cast-iron surface can develop a stronger natural patina through regular cooking and appropriate care, improving its cooking characteristics over time.
Generous Cooking Area
At approximately 46 × 26 cm, the large surface provides plenty of room for cooking multiple ingredients or portions at once.
Indoor & Outdoor Versatility
Suitable for a variety of cooking environments, from compatible hobs and ovens to grills and appropriate open-flame cooking.
Designed for Long-Term Use
Unlike a conventional applied non-stick surface that can deteriorate with wear, cast iron can be cleaned, maintained and re-seasoned, making it particularly well suited to long-term cookware.
The Details
Reversible Cooking Surface
One side features raised grill ridges for searing and grilling, while the reverse provides a completely flat surface for traditional griddle cooking.
Solid Cast Iron Construction
The substantial cast-iron body stores and distributes heat across the cooking surface, helping maintain temperature once properly preheated.
Pre-Seasoned Surface
Supplied pre-seasoned, providing a practical starting surface that can be maintained and developed through continued cooking and appropriate seasoning.
Generous 46 × 26 cm Surface
The large rectangular cooking area provides space for preparing several ingredients or portions simultaneously.
Integrated Handles
Cast-in handles at either end provide practical grip points for positioning, lifting and reversing the griddle. Always use appropriate heat protection when hot.
Multi-Surface Compatibility
Designed for use across gas, induction and ceramic hobs, as well as in the oven and appropriate open-flame cooking environments.
Made for High-Heat Cooking
Cast iron is particularly well suited to cooking techniques such as searing, grilling and browning where strong, retained heat is beneficial.
Care & Long-Term Use
Hand Wash Only
Clean the griddle by hand after use. Avoid putting cast iron in the dishwasher or leaving it submerged in water, as prolonged moisture can encourage rust.
Dry Thoroughly
Dry the griddle completely after cleaning. Gently warming it after washing can help evaporate any remaining surface moisture.
Maintain the Seasoning
Apply a very thin layer of cooking oil when required to help maintain the seasoned surface and support the development of its natural patina.
Use Both Surfaces Regularly
Because both sides are cooking surfaces, the ridged and smooth faces should each be cleaned, dried and maintained to keep the entire griddle in good condition.
Avoid Sudden Temperature Changes
Allow the cast iron to heat and cool progressively. Moving very hot cast iron directly into cold water can subject the material to unnecessary thermal stress.
Surface Rust Can Be Restored
If surface rust develops, it does not necessarily mean the cookware needs replacing. Cast iron can generally be cleaned, thoroughly dried and re-seasoned to restore the cooking surface.
Built to Develop With Use
Unlike a disposable applied coating, a seasoned cast-iron surface is maintainable. With appropriate use and care, its patina can continue developing over time.
